MUZAFFARGARH (APP) Two boys drowned in river Chenab near Khangarh on Sunday evening. According to reports, two friends- Mohammad Tayyab (9) and Mohammad Muzammil (11) residents of Mohallah Hafiz Maqbool, Khangarh, went to the river Chenab to witness the construction of a boat bridge between Shujabad and Khangarh. They both entered the river and started bathing while holding the ropes tied to the boats. However, they could not hold the rope for long time due to speedy flow of water and drowned. District administration was informed of the incident. Local PPP leader Rana Amjad, PML-N youth wing district president Chaudhry Amir Karamat, SHO PS Khangarh Waseem Leghari besides a number of people reached the site. Efforts were being made to find the bodies of the two children.
