President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani have resolved that sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan would be maintained at all costs. During a meeting between two the executives held at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday, they also resolved that no external pressure in this regard would ever be accepted in this regard either. They also deliberated over the law and order situation of Karachi, whence the President directed the PM to ensure law and order in the City. Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani briefed the President regarding the budget for FY-2012-2013, while it was also decided that all-out efforts would be made to ensure that a friendly budget be presented for the next fiscal year in order to ensure more relief for masses, since they had pinned fervent hopes with their elected representatives. The most important foreign policy matter of Pakistan-USA relationship was also deliberated upon, whence President Zardari took PM into confidence over his meetings with USDA President Barrack Obama, secretary of State, Hilary Clinton and others during Chicago’s NATO moot. The general prevailing socio-political situation of the country was also discussed in detail.
