Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has called the All Parties Conference to review national security in light of the recent allegations by the US over Pakistan's alleged support of the Haqqani Network. Addressing the APC, PM said, "We reject all US allegations." The conflict among the world powers has a destructive impact upon the region, he said. Pakistan has provided all possible support for peace in Afghanistan, Gilani said. "Allegations by the US are false," PM added. "The US cannot ask us to do more," he further added. He said Pakistan is facing many challenges and is an important country politically and geographically. In his inaugural speech at the All Parties Conference on Thursday Gilani said, " National security is our foremost priority." Politicians from all shades of the political divide attending the moot on national security at Prime Minister House Islamabad to brain-storm over the challenges to national security in the wake of the charges levelled by the US officials against Pakistan security establishment in their recent statements.
