The Supreme Court accepted the appeals of the PCO judges against the contempt notices issued to them for hearing on Friday. The hearing of the appeals would start on May 03. The PCO judges made appeals against the contempt of court notices issued to them, a private TV reported. The five-member bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Nasirul Malik, observed that the Registrar Office was not authorized to reject the appeals of the PCO judges, which were wrongly dismissed. Dr Basit Advocate on behalf of the PCO judges argued before the court that the judges appeals should be heard before the contempt proceedings, after which the court had reserved decision on the matter.
