ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) today filed a reference with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) seeking disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The PAT has taken the plea that the prime minister had concealed assets of his children in his tax returns and nomination papers and he stands disqualified under clause 12,88 and 99 of  Public Representation Act.

The PTI and the PPP have earlier filed references with the ECP against the premier, his close family members and others, seeking their disqualification for having offshore companies and holding and evading taxes.
