ISLAMABAD: Roots School System DHA1 Islamabad campus held a Mehfil-e-Milad here the other day. More than 2,000 ladies from the twin cities were invited by Khadija Mushtaq, Executive Director Roots System DHA1 campus Islamabad and CEO Roots International Schools to pay tribute to Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).–PRKhadija Mushtaq and Riffat Mushtaq, Founder of Roots School System, welcomed the chief guests of the ceremony Begum General Raheel Sharif and Begum Gen Rashad Mahmood along with other distinguished guests including Begum General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Begum Lt Gen Najibullah Khan, Begum Lt Gen Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmed and other women from academic and prominent social segment of the society.–PR The Milad began with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by ‘Hamd’. Young students of RSS DHA1 campus and Roots Ivy International School recited melodious ‘Naats’ and took turns to narrate a wide range of ‘Sunnats’ from the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The Milad ended with an overwhelming and heart rending ‘Dua’ for the prosperity of country and for the unity of the Ummah.
