Rawalpindi - Wisal Fakhar Sultan Raja has been appointed as new regional police officer (RPO) Rawalpindi. The office of inspector general of Punjab police has also issued a notification in this regard, reliable sources informed The Nation on Monday.
Wisal Fakhar Sultan Raja has also served as city police officer, district police officer Attock and commandant Sihala Police College, sources added. The post of RPO Rawalpindi had been vacant since transfer of Akhter Umar Hayyat Lalayka.
