MIRPURKHAS - Dozens of office bearers and workers of Sindh Peoples Youth of district Mirpurkhas on Monday held the protest demonstration, outside the local press club, against the anchor persons of a private TV channel. They were carried banners and placards raising slogans against the said anchor persons. The protestors were led by district president Mohammad Hanif Memon. They also burnt the effigy of the anchor person. They demanded from the administration of that TV channel to immediately sack the aforementioned persons. Memon said that it was the responsibility of the administration of private TV channel to suspend those employees who were criticising the present democratic government without any reason. He said that due to the present policy of the TV channel, masses were opposing it and avoid seeing its transmission. He said that accountability of those criticising the Sindhi cap culture and democratic government should be made. He said that TV channels should pay their vital role in progress and prosperity of the country. He warned the administration of the private TV channel to stop playing with the feelings of the masses.
