The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Sunday said that planned riots were made in Karachi.
He said that there was worst law and order situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa as compare to Karachi.
He said that quarrels between Sindhi and Mujahir had been made through conspiracies in past. He reiterated that those who tried to wash away MQM have their selves finished.
Condemning the remarks regarding single party power in Karachi, He demanded of the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo moto notice of the remarks of the presiding judge. He also asked the judge to take his remarks back.
Hussain said that no one would be allowed to ambush on democracy. He said that such kind of remarks could harm democracy and the country.
Addressing to a public meeting at Jinnah Ground Karachi which MQM workers and supporters listened throughout the country simultaneously, he said that people grant right to any party through voting. Constitution gives equal rights to all citizens, he stated.
The MQM chief said that his party believes on judiciary and the Constitution, added that, it was Election Commission's duty to make constituencies.
He said that new constituencies before census was totally against of the Constitution. New constituencies being made to curb MQM’s vote bank, he claimed.
The MQM chief said that his party has been against the feudal system from the beginning. ‘The people are free to vote any party they love”, he added.
