At least two persons were gun downed, one sustained injuries and a dead body was found from Chakiwara in separate incidents took place in different areas of Karachi on Friday. According to media reports, some unidentified persons gun down Lal Muhammad Khan Mehsud (25) s/o Gul Sope Khan in Allah dad colony, Baldia town. He had come from Quetta to his uncle's house in Baldia town three days back. In another incident some unidentified men opened indiscriminate firing at Qari Noor Ahmad and Munir Ali killing Qari Noor Ahmad on the spot in Khokhra par, Allah wali masjid. Qari Noor used to teach Quran in the mosque. The dead body has been handed over to the heirs. In separate incident a bullet riddled dead body was found in Bahar colony Chakiwara. The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Zakir (27) s/o Muhammad Usman. He was a employee in Karachi Water and Sewerage Board. The dead body has been handed over to their heirs. Meanwhile, the police have arrested 17 criminals involved in street crimes and seized stolen vehicles, weapons and drugs from their possession. The six criminals including Muhammad Asif, Aamir Jamil, Zubair Muhsin Shah and Amir Khan have been arrested from Muzaffarabad, Qaid Abad, Railway Bridge, Star ground and Sher pao colony. The police seized 6 TT pistols, robbed amount of Rs 9,000, and snatched mobile phones. The police arrested a motorbike lifter Tahir Shah and seized a motorbike no KEH-4297 from his possession. The police arrested five gamblers and seized gambling money from their possession in Majid colony.
