PM needs to get vote of confidence: Kanwar Dilshad

Former Secretary Election Commission Kanwar Dilshad said that PPP has lost support of majority allies in Senate and in wake of the present political scenario Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani needs vote of confidence. Talking to private TV channel here on Monday, Former Secretary Election Commission Kanwar Dilshad said that PPP has support of 158 members in Senate while, constitutionally PM needs support of 172 members. In wake of the present political scenario President Asif Ali Zardari could direct Yusuf Raza Gilani to get fresh vote of confidence. Answering to query, Kanwar said that it would be premature to say anything about elections but if the Prime Minister would fail to get vote of confidence then elections could be hold while change of in-house is second way in which after consultation with opposition parties new Prime Minister would be announced. If new prime minister would fail to get vote of confidence then President could announce elections.
