KARACHI - Sindh Minister for Health, Dr Saghir Ahmed said that there is a need to foster awareness regarding the fatalities caused by sepsis.He was speaking at a symposium organized here on Sunday in connection with the World Sepsis day. The Minister was of the view that sepsis is often misconstrued as blood poisoning and that because of this there are more fatalities. He stressed that awareness should be created regarding this very disease so that the patients be provided with appropriate treatment facilities. Dr Saghir also lauded the role of the Pakistan Society of Critical Care medicine.
