Qaim, Faryal assure workers of resolving their problems

KARACHI - A high level meeting of PPP district Ghotki was held on Sunday at the CM House here. Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, and Madam Faryal TalpurMNA co-chaired the meeting. A CM House statement said that the meeting was attended among others by Provincial Local Government Minister, Agha Siraj Durrani, Sindh Minister for Irrigation, Jam Saifullah Dharejo, Sindh Minister for Law and Jails, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, Qadir Bux Kalwar, Nizamddin Rajori, Abdul Razzaq Mehar, Abdul Latif Shah, Agha Nazakat, Abdul Rasheed Bhutto, Sikandar Lakho, Syed Imtiaz Shah, Deewan Lal, Siddique Abu Bhai, and others. The meeting discussed overall political situation of district Ghotki. The office bearers and workers of district Ghotki said the district Ghotki had always remained fort of PPP, and Inshallah, it will again prove to be the fort of Peoples Party in the next general elections.The party workers assured the leadership that they will fully devote their energies for furtherance of party programme and will foil the negative attempts of opposition. They highlighted some problems and hoped that there will be sympathetic consideration for the same.  CM Sindh and Madam Faryal Talpur assured the office bearers and workers of party that the genuine problems will be solved on priority basis. They added that party will go to people for elections on the basis of performance, services rendered for welfare of masses and development process. Chief Minister said that Sindh Government with assistance of Federal Government is doing a lot for the power and gas generation form Thar Coal, Badin and Thatta Coal, wind power and solar energy, and Sindh will soon become important area of power generation which is essential for progress and prosperity of Pakistan. Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that under party programme and policies laid by President Asif Ali Zardari, the Sindh province has become self sufficient in food productivity particularly in the crops of wheat, rice, sugarcane and pulses. He said that there is a remarkable progress in industrial sector and investments. Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Madam Faryal Talpur asked the party workers to unitedly work hard for resolving the problems of common men.Meanwhile, Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that with the help of masses, Pakistan People’s Party would clean sweep in coming general elections because PPP is the most popular political party of the country. In a statement issued here on Sunday, he said that PPP would defeat all undemocratic forces. Nawaz League and PTI could not defeat PPP if they even try together. Undemocratic approach of PML N had made it very unpopular among masses.He added, “Sindh is the strong hold of PPP. Nawaz Sharif had seen his visible defeat in Sindh and he would not be able to get a single seat in Sindh.” The Provincial minister for information was of the opinion that during last four years, Sindh government had done a lot of development works which had no match in the history of Pakistan.He said that being elected representatives of masses we were accountable to the people. “We followed the reconciliation political policy of President Asif Ali Zardari.” He said that being elected representatives of masses we were accountable to the people not to PCO judges.
