Renowned Sindhi writer and scholar, Dr Nabi Bakhsh Baloch, died of a cardiac arrest on Wednesday. After suffering a heart attack early on Wednesday morning, 93-year-old, Dr Nabi Bakhsh was admitted to the Red Crescent Cardiac Hospital, where he breathes his last. His funeral will be held in his native village, Mehmood Kot, Khairpur. Dr Baloch studied Sindhi literature and language and wrote many books besides compiling and publishing Sindhi dictionary in five volumes. The government of Pakistan honoured Dr Baloch with several awards for his achievements.
