KARACHI- Pakistan Rangers Sindh has arrested 1887 criminals and recovered 3236 weapons in the last six months during targeted actions in Karachi, a release said today. 

According to details, from September 5, 2013 to March 5, 2014, 1839 targeted raids were conducted in the city in which 1887 criminals including 12 terrorists, 126 target killers, 18 kidnappers and 181 extortionists were apprehended.

During the raids, 3236 weapons  including RPG-7, uni-barrel rocket launchers, hand grenades, LMGs, SMGs, rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, pistols, explosives, IEDs, detonators, mixed ammo, bullet proof jackets and narcotics were recovered.

The release said that six Rangers’ personnel embraced martyrdom and 31 got injured during the operations.
