KARACHI- Police today successfully recovered a six-month-old baby girl kidnapped from the city yesterday.

The baby was brought for a TV commercial audition at a local four-star hotel by her parents at the request of a woman named Misbah Khan, who invited them through Facebook.

The accused took along the baby and did not return, the family members told police, adding that the kidnappers later demanded ransom.

“We have arrested the lady and two of her male accomplices, another managed to flee.” a police officer from Artillery police station said. He added that the baby had been recovered safe and sound.
