Doctors blamed for child’s death at private hospital

KARACHI - A five-year old child died at a private hospital in the city on Saturday due to alleged negligence of doctors.

The family of the child protested in the hospital and demanded action against the doctors concerned. The child, Shahzain, was admitted to a private hospital in the North Nazimabad area of Karachi. His parents told the media that Shahzain was shifted to the ICU with a head injury a few days ago. They said that he was shifted to the general ward when his condition improved, but he developed pneumonia there. They said that Shahzain died due to doctors’ negligence.

They demanded that authorities take action against the doctors and other staff of the hospital.
