KARACHI – An alleged criminal was killed and two others wounded while several a dozen others were arrested in different targeted operations in the city. According to detail, heavy contingents of law enforcers reached Ali Mohalla, Zikri Para and Kacchi Para where gangsters welcomed the rangers with bullets.Exchange of fire took place. As a result, Hanif Baloch, Shakir Baloch and Muhammad Baksh were wounds and taken to the Civil Hospital where Hanif succumbed to his injures. Rangers claimed to have recovered five kalashnikov, three TT pistol, two hand grenades and one wireless communication device from their possessions.  However, rangers claimed to have arrested eleven gangsters and recovered weapons from their possessions during the targeted operation in different area of the city including MDA Flats, Bhans Colony, New Karachi, Boat Basan, Bilawal Churangi and Frontair Colony. Ranger spokesman said arrested gangster were involved in target killing, extortions and others criminal cases.  SIU claimed to have arrested two gangsters namely Abdul Majid Baloch and Anwar and recovered two TT pistol from their possession. Both the accused were arrested in different raids conducted in Shairshah and Pak Colony areas. SIU said Abdul Majid Baloch having affiliation with Lyari gangsters and police looking for him in a dozen cases of murder.
