KARACHI - Passing out of Aero Apprentices was held here at PAF Base Korangi Creek. Air Vice Marshal Mohammad Hassan, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Training) was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. A total of 211 Aero Apprentices had successfully completed their technical training. Three trophies were awarded to these apprentices, two in academic and one for the best all round performance including general service training. Chief of the Air Staff trophy for the best all round performance was awarded to AC Naveed Anwar from School of Aeronautics. Noor Khan Trophy for the best in academics was won by AC Intazar Ali from School of Electronics and Asghar Khan Trophy for the best in academics was won by AC Javed Ahmed from School of Aeronautics. Air Vice Marshal Mohammad Hassan, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Training) while addressing on the occasion said that Pakistan Air Force is a highly professional force that is committed to provide an invincible defence shield to its aerial frontiers. He also said that a reappraisal of both our strengths and weaknesses is the need of the time. That is why Pakistan Air Force has taken bold decisions to induct hi-tech weapon systems. However, he added that such developments call for a complete transformation from classical air inventory and necessitates incorporation of a corresponding concept of maintenance in the PAF. Pakistan Air Force ensures such equilibrium through professional excellence acquired through quality training that is periodically reviewed and revitalised to incorporate contemporary training concepts and methodologies. Felicitating the Aero Supports Aero Apprentices and their families for this singular honour, the chief guest wished them bright future and success in their lives. He also commended the instructional staff for their sincere endeavours and commitment to the cause of training.
