The police Wednesday arrested two target killers involved in murder of eight people during a raid and recovered arms from their possession. According to SSP East, Ahsan Umer, the police raided the Awami Colony locality of Landhi during which it took into custody two target killers belonging to a political party while their two accomplices managed to flee. The police also recovered arms including two Kalashnikovs, two pistols and several rounds from the possession of accused later identified as Kashif alias Budha and Shabeer. In the preliminary interrogation the detainees have admitted murder of eight people in the city and their affiliation with a political party. A case has been registered against the arrested target killers at Awami Colony Police Station and investigations were in progress.
