KARACHI - A woman officer of the Sindh Assembly wrote graffiti against her boss, secretary of the Assembly, for alleged injustices being committed with her regarding promotion and posting.
Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani suspended five officers, including the chief security officer of the assembly building, over their negligence. He formed a three-member committee to conduct an inquiry into the matter.
Mrs. Siraj Fatima, deputy secretary of the Sindh Assembly, on Tuesday wrote graffiti on the walls of the Assembly building against the Acting Secretary of the Assembly, Ghulam Farooq Buriro, demanding his removal from the senior post.
Later, while talking to the media Fatima admitted she had wrote the graffiti. She claimed she belongs to MQM while the provincial secretary of the Assembly is associated with the ruling PPP so she was deprived of promotion and posting on senior post.
She further claimed that she is the senior officer in the Sindh Assembly but she was being ignored in promotion.
She announced that she will raise her voice on all forums including the judiciary against the injustices being committed with her.
Meanwhile, Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani while expressing his annoyance over the issue gave ordered to suspend five officers, including chief security officer Yousaf Junejo over their negligence in security matters.
The Speaker has formed a three-member committee, headed by Additional Secretary Shafiq Ahmed Mosvi, with a task to investigate into the matter and submit the report within a week.
