The spell of violence and firing incidents continued overnight in the metropolis, as at least three more people were gunned down.
According to details, some unidentified miscreants resorted to indiscriminate firing in Jumma Goth’s Bengali Para in the remit of Bin Qasim Police Station, where two youths lost their lives in the flashpoint.
The deceased have been identified as Bilal and Anees. Also, two others were injured in the same gunfire incident. Bodies of the deceased and the injured have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
A body with torture marks was found from ICI bridge in the limit of Mauripur Police Station. Police transported the body of the deceased to Civil Hospital for post mortem.
Meantime, police overnight entered a purported gunfight with some criminals in Pirabad area, where a man was killed with gunshot injury; while, another culprit was arrested in injured state.
According to police sources, the deceased was a dacoit.
