Four killed in Karachi violence

At least four persons were killed and several others injured in separate incidents of targeted killing in different localities of the city on Saturday. The police and Rangers during separate raids and search operation arrested 10 criminals and recovered arms and other valuables from their possession.
According to rescue sources, unknown armed men opened fire at a passer-by near DA Chorangi area of North Nazimabad killing him on the spot and fled the scene. The body was shifted to hospital where identity of deceased was yet to be ascertained.
In yet another incident of firing in Sector 11-D of North Nazimabad one person was killed.
An unknown person was killed by armed miscreants in Shoe Market area.
Limbed tied dead body of an unknown person was recovered from Mangopir area.
At least six persons were reported injured in separate violent incidents in different areas of Karachi.
SSP Central said that the police arrested three criminals accused of involvement in various incidents of robberies, street crimes and picket looting and recovered arms and stolen valuables from their possession.
Meanwhile, heavy contingent of Rangers raided Khadda Market, Naya Abad and other surrounding areas. During search operation seven criminals were nabbed and arms were recovered from their possession. The security personnel also raided a gambling den and seized cash and gambling material but the accused managed to escape.
