Imran Khan promises to build a new Karachi

KARACHI- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan today concluded his Karachi rally with a vow to make the city prosperous.

Despite a spat between PTI and MQM on streets, PTI convoy faced little resistance near Karimabad and Mukka Chowk, areas having strong support for the MQM.

Khan said that he wanted to see a peaceful Karachi and therefore instructed his party workers to avoid violence.

"The April 19 rally in Karachi will be historic. Karachi has the potential to lift Pakistan," said Khan.

Khan further questioned MQM chief for the way MQM workers treated PTI activists. He said the PTI is a peaceful party. He referred to the PTI sit-in in Islamabad, calling it a historic protest.

“Naya Karachi will be made," he said. "Karachi will elevate Pakistan," he added. He also thanked his wife Reham Khan for joining the rally.

“It’s important to have Rangers during the elections in Karachi,” he concluded.
