Governor of Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad has summoned a meeting of Sindh coalition parties at Governor House today. Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and MQM chief Altaf Hussain in a telephonic conversation on Saturday exchanged views on the current situation in Karachi. The two leaders agreed to play their role in the restoration of peace and tranquility in Karachi. Prime Minister Gilani and the MQM chief said they will ask the members of their respective parties to avoid provocation and play their role in the restoration of peace in Karachi so as to bring normalcy in the mega city. Earlier, Governor of Sindh telephoned the leaders of Sindh coalition parties and urged them to play their role to calm down tensions. The parliamentary leaders of all coalition parties, Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza will attend the meeting.
