KARACHI - The Pakistan Post has issued a postage stamp of Rs. eight denomination on signing of the 7th National Finance Commission (NFC) Award 2009 in Gwadar. An announcement here on Saturday said that the stamps would be available for sale from January 11 at all the major post offices in Pakistan. According to the Assistant director General (Stamps) Pakistan Post, the First Day Cover and leaflets are also being brought out on the occasion and are priced at Rs. five and Rs. 10 respectively. A special postmark will be used to service the first day issue cover, it was further stated. Meanwhile it was further said that the Pakistan Post is also issuing a commemorative stamp on Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan from January 11. An official statement here on Saturday said that this stamp would be of Rs. eight denomination.
