Railway tracks blown up suspending railway operation

Some unknown militants blew up railway tracks with explosive material in Karachi, Hyderabad and Nawabshah leaving two persons injured and suspending the railway operations here on Friday. According to media reports, two bombs exploded on railway track laid near Baloch colony damaging one and half feet railway track and injuring the two persons. The injured were shifted to Jinnah hospital. In wake of further terror incidents the Hazara express from Karachi Cant was suspended. After one hour the Hazara express train departed. According to bomb disposal squads half-kilogram explosive material was used in each bomb. After Karachi blasts the militants blew up down railway tracks laid in Hyderabad near Hussainabad while according to police three kilogram explosive material was used in the bomb. After the blasts the trains for Karachi and Punjab were stopped on different railway stations. After blowing up Hyderabad railway tracks the militants targeted railway track in Nawabshah, laid 284 miles between Sarhari and Nawaz Dahry. According to railway officials, the blasts badly damaged the railway tracks while Allama Iqbal and Pakistan Express were stopped on Nawab Shah Railway station. Meanwhile, the militants blown up another railway track in Noshehro Feroz Pur area of Mehrab Pur suspending the train operation temporarily. DS railway Aftab Memon said that the blasts damaged one and half percent part of the railway track. He said that the railway track has been repaired.
