PPP-MQM bond vital for stability: Altaf

KARACHI - MQM leader Altaf Hussain has said that alliance between Pakistan Peoples Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement is for the stability of Pakistan. According to a press statement issued on Saturday, in a meeting with Asif Zardari, he discussed different issues like price-hike and food crises faced by the country. He was of the view that all political forces should consolidate democratic process for the progressive future of the country. Altaf vowed that he would fully support the process of political reconciliation.  Interior Advisor Rehman Malik, Hussain Haqqani, MQM Rabita Committee Deputy Convenor Tariq Javed, Muhammad Anwar, Saleem Shehzad and others were also present on the occasion.  He said that MQM was ready to forge working relationship with Mian Nawaz Sharif.  We had no reservation between the relation of PPP and PML-N, he added.  He also offered fateha for the departed soul of Benazir Bhutto and presented a framed poem to Asif Zardari, which he wrote for the slain PPP leader.
