‘Pagara’s public meeting a referendum against SPLGA’

KARACHI - The first mass contact of Pir Pagara would be held on December 14 (tomorrow) in Hyderabad which will be the biggest political show, referendum and warning against the present government to refrain themselves from playing Sindh Card on the expense of the rights of Sindhis.PML-F’s provincial leader and Media Coordinator of ladies wing Shama Munshi requested the people of Sindh to join the hands of Pir Pagara to save Sindh against discriminatory black law of Sindh Peoples Local Government Act 2012 and construction of Kalabagh Dam. People of Sindh have appealed to attend Pir Pagara’s first historical public meeting in Hyderabad tomorrow on December 14 with huge majority to express solidarity with him for his efforts to wage the war against the conspiracies being hatched against the of Sindh.  The tomorrow’s public meeting is the beginning of the one point agenda of Pir Pagara’s mass contact campaign drive against the new local government system, which is not a personal benefit issue but PML-F wants to protect the rights of Sindh.Munshi said that Sindh is surrounded by many conspiracies headed by ruler party PPP. New local government law is a part of this conspiracy that how Sindh’s urban and rural resources be plundered and distributed between PPP and MQM. This exploitative and discriminated law is the direct attack on unity of Sindh. PPP is also involved and instrumental in getting verdict for Kalabagh Dam by misleading Lahore High court. Kalabagh dam is the baby of PPP which they have been nurturing since Zulfikar Ali Bhutto tenure to attain their heinous motives, even Benazir Bhutto government in 1989 allocated funds for the construction of this dam.Shama Munshi said that PPP has deliberately revived this issue during the verge of election for political gains. The PML-F is not ready to compromise on anti-Sindh projects and laws at all. Sain Pir Pagara wants all the stakeholders of Sindh to bury the “dead horse” of Kalabagh Dam and Anti-Sindh local government law by attending the public gathering tomorrow on December 14 with huge number as it will be a mark of masses to reject ruling PPP’s anti Sindh policies.Meanwhile, Provincial Minister for Prisons, Mines and Mineral Development Manzoor Hussain Wassan has said that Pakistan Peoples Party is popular among the masses and its roots spread across the country. He expressed these views while talking to journalists and peoples of his constituency at his office on Wednesday. He said under the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP-P Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari parliamentarians have been resolving the problems of the masses on priority. He said PPP will be emerged as leading party in upcoming elections. He further said party tickets would be awarded on the performance and feedback of public about parliamentarians. He did not rule out the possibility of changes in organisational setup of the party in province.
