KARACHI - Law enforcement agencies are looking for an explosive-laden vehicle roaming across the country, sources confided to The Nation on Tuesday. National Crisis Management Cell and Federal Interior Ministry have warned the law enforcement agencies, on the information of secret agencies, that TTP has dispatched an explosive-laden vehicle from Ourakzai Agency that could be blown up anywhere in the country. In the letter obtained by The Nation, the Crisis Management Cell explained that chief of Tehreek-e-Taliban Hakimullah Mehsud and Tariq training camp commander Darra Adam Khail have sent a grey coloured Land Cruiser double cabin vehicle loaded with explosive material. The letter further said that TTP had asked its men to hit security forces and government installations. The vehicle bearing registration number KHC-10 had been departed from Darra Adam Khail on January 4. It had also been mentioned in the letter that terrorists could change the number plate to hoodwink the Customs officials and the said vehicle could be rammed into any sensitive installation. The letter had been sent to all the provincial home departments and IGPs while the provincial authorities have forwarded its copy to concerned TPOs directing them to keep a vigilant eye on this vehicle. The security personnel had been put on red alert to thwart any untoward incident.
