A day of bullet-riddled bodies; 5 found

KARACHI – Police have found five more bullet-riddled bodies from different parts of the old City area.
According to detail, Jackson Police have found two bullet-riddled bodies of men near the Customs House.
Police said that police found the bodies after being informed and shifted them to Civil Hospital Karachi for autopsy where they were identified as Nabi Buksh Baloch, 42, and Asif Baloch, 35, residents of Shah Baig Lane, Lyari.
Police quoted eyewitness as saying that unidentified assailants were threw the bodies from a car and managed to escape. Police said that hands and legs of the bodies were tied with ropes and both the victims received each bullet in their heads after brutal torture. Police suspected target killing behind the motive of dual murder.
Similarly, Baghdadi Police have also found two another tortured bodies of young men near Riaz Hotel, Lyari. After getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to CHK for autopsy.
One of the victims was identified as Ali Shan, 30, resident of Khada Market, Lyari while other one was yet to be identified and his body was taken to morgue after autopsy. Police said the victims belonged to Khachi community and suspected that Lyari gangsters were involved in the killing of above said victims.
Nappier Police have also found another bullet-riddled body of a man from his house at Jinnahabad and shifted it to CHK for legal formalities.
The victim was identified as Akram Baloch, 40. Police said he received a bullet in his head. Medicolegal officer of CHK Dr Aftab Chnarh said the victim was shot from a distance which proved that the incident was a murder but the police was trying to portray it as suicide.
It is pertinent to mention here that gang war has been started between the two groups of Lyari after the murder of Rashid Malbari alias Bengali on October 7. Following the murder of Bengali, his assassin Israr Baloch, his two brothers including seven family members among 27 people have been killed. Mostly victims were abducted and tortured before killing. The bodies found were mutilated before packed them into gunny bags.
Separately, a factory worker namely Ashraf Usman, 32, was gunned down at Lasbela bridge within the remits of Jamshed Quarter. Police said the victim was on way to home from the factory when two armed riders targeted him. Resultantly he died on the spot. Police handed over the body to family after autopsy at the CHK.  
Moreover, a teenager namely Adeel was gunned down in Landhi area. Police officials said that the victim was living in Quaidabad area and was sitting at his uncle’s shop when some unidentified armed men came and escaped after shooting him. As a result, he died on the spot. His body was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for autopsy.
In Baldia Town, an eleven-year-old boy identified as Allah Dad, was killed while his eldest brother namely Wajid Khan was injured in a firing incident near their home within Saeedabad police station. SHO Gulshan Junejo said that the incident took place over personal enmity while further investigation was underway.
