KARACHI – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Mir Changez Khan Jamali has said that the country’s growth is linked with progress in science and technology.
He was addressing the scientists and technologies during his visit at PCSIR Laboratories Complex Karachi.
He stressed the scientists and technologists to work hard, so that poverty can be eliminated with in the country. He emphasised on close relation between research organisations, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, besides he also pointed out for harmony among educational institutions, private sector and scientific research organisations for accelerating the development of country.
Director General, PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Karachi , Engr. Iftikhar Ahmed Soomro welcome the minister, and briefed about different scientific projects being executed at Karachi Laboratories Complex, which were appreciated by the minister.    
Engineer Iftikhar Ahmed Soomro also detailed the problems and bottlenecks faced by the scientists. The minister vowed to solve these problems and announced that these difficulties will be removed and informed that daily wages employees will be made permanent very soon. The crowed hailed the decision1 of Minister and present regime.
