KARACHI - A police constable, stationed at the Saudabad Police Headquarters (East), was gunned down in front of his house in Gulshan-e-Munir on Thursday. Identified as Shamshad Ali, 40, son of Mushtaq Ali, the victim was attacked at the doorstep of his house by two unidentified gunmen.
Ali received two bullets and was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The Al-Falah Police Station has registered a case against the miscreants on the complaint of Naghma, who alleged that one Saqib and Babloo were behind the killing of her spouse.
She said Ali had a dispute with them. The victim had two children.
