KARACHI- Referring to anti-government sit-ins in Islamabad, Jamat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj ul Haq said the nation is worried over the situation in the federal capital.
According to our sources, Siraj said that various options to defuse political confrontation came under discussion during his meeting with the National Assembly opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah earlier today.
He stressed upon the need to find a political solution to the crisis. The JI chief said all key decisions will be taken in Islamabad, where Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) are staging sit-ins. Reiterating his stance, Siraj said that no one would be allowed to derail democracy.
