KARACHI - Pacers Sohail Tanvir and Umer Gul now playing in Sheffield Shield in Australia will arrive here Saturday morning to join Pakistan squad named for ODI series against Sri Lanka, it was officially announced here Friday. First two matches of three ODI series will be played back to back here at the National stadium January 20 and 21. The two players are expected to reach here in time to attend the first team meeting set for 11 in the morning. Six players of the 15-member squad named for the opening ODI including skipper Shoaib Malik have already arrived along with vice captain Misbahul Haq, Kamran Akmal, Salman Butt, Umer Amin. Team manager Yawar Saeed has also arrived and Coach Intikhab Alam is due here some time in the evening. Pakistan team will hold first training session here at the National stadium on Saturday afternoon.Sri Lankan team is due to arrive here directly from Dhaka on Sunday morning. The team will hold arrival media briefing later in the afternoon in team hotel.Both Pakistan and Sri Lanka will also hold training sessions under lights as the two ODI will be day night contest.In the meantime all arrangements including the security arrangements were being given final touches. The sale of tickets for the matches has already begun at eighteen selected branches of Bank Al Falah.
