At least two persons were killed in different firing incidents in the metropolis with two suspected people arrested during the Rangers’ search operation in Liaquatabad.
According to details, a security guard Mir Gul was killed in gunfire by unidentified motorcyclist miscreants in Saddar area of Zebaun Nisa Street.
Another youth Wasim was gunned down while he was sitting outside his house located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal block-3.
Also, a man Momin Khan was injured in firing by dacoits in Chanesar Goth.
Meantime, the Rangers cordoned off some streets at Arshi Chowk near Sindhi Hotel area of Liaquatabad and arrested two suspected people during the search operation.
In another action by law-enforcers, Mominabad Police arrested a miscreant Imran and seized from his possession pistol and charas after alleged encounter in Orangi Town.
Also, Sharifabad Police arrested a man, Shakeel along with his son for killing his daughter-in-law Farzana Kanwal. The arrested son and father said they are innocent, as Farzana died of her ailment.
However, police said Farzana’s brother Imran lodged a murder case against the two miscreants.
