KARACHI (APP) - Led by stylish batsman Mahela Jayawardene, a 15-member Asian Champion Sri Lankan squad is due to arrive here on Sunday afternoon on the first phase their tour to Pakistan to play three One-Day International against the home team starting from January 20. Sri Lanka squad would be arriving here on Biman Airlines flight landing at Quaid-e-Azam International Airport at 1.30 P.M. The first two day/night ODIs will be played at National Stadium on January 20-21 while third match of the series will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on January 24. After the short ODI series, Sri Lankan will be returning to Pakistan on February 14 to play a three-day side game and two Test matches against the host in February/March. The Pakistan Cricket Board has arranged the tour after India pulled-off of their schedule tour to Pakistan after Mumbai attacks. Sri Lanka skipper Jayawardene will be addressing a arrival press conference at Hotel Pearl Continental at 4.00 P.M. Trophy unveiling and press conference of the two captains will be held on Monday at 5 PM and touring side will have their first training session under light at at 5.30 PM.
