Karachi- A police mobile narrowly escaped a mishap as a hand grenade hurled on them by unknown miscreants did not go off today.
According to police sources, the miscreants threw a hand grenade on a police mobile near DMC Chowk in the jurisdiction of Aram Bagh police station. The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was called for help and it successfully defused the bomb. According to BDS officials, the grenade was Russian-made. The miscreants managed to escape after the attack. Heavy contingent of police reached the scene after the incident.
