A suspected foreign terrorist blew himself up with a hand grenade during a search operation conducted by Rangers at Gulistan-e-Johar here in Karachi on Friday, police said. According to the details, the bomber, identified as Moeed, was killed on the spot. Police officials, confirming his death, said he was a dual nationality holder. Acting on a tip-off, Rangers cordoned off Rao Israr Apartment and conducted house-to-house search. When they reached the third floor of the apartment, Muhammad Moeed, residing in Flat A-306, blew himself up. His wife and four children were unhurt. They were taken into custody by police for investigation. SSP Chaudhry Asad said the operation began in the wee hours of Friday. He said further investigations are under way.
