KARACHI - The province of NWFP known as the home of squash in the country and which has produced a large number of world class players has not entered a team in the inaugural Hasan Musa junior (under-15) boys and girls squash championships which will be played at Hyderabad Gymkhana October 18-23. Name of NWFP is missing from the list of entries that the organisers Sindh and Hyderabad Squash Association have provided on the eve of the event which will be played only in individual event. The Sindh Squash Association (SSA) and Hyderabad District Squash Association are organising "Hasan Musa Squash Championships in memory of former president of the SSA and a former vice president of the World Squash Federation and to acknowledge his contribution in the development of the sport. The event would be held twice every year.Mehdi Musa son of Hasan Musa will be chief guest at the opening ceremony. Balochistan and PAF have entered only boy's team while Punjab and Sindh have entered in both boys and girls events.  Following are the teams. Balochistan : Saifullah, Hasnain Ali, Javed Ali, Muhammas Ejaz, Riffat Ali. Manager: Abdul Khaliq Kakar. Pakistan Air Force (PAF): Faraz Mohammad, Bilal Zakir, Rizwan Gul ,Fazal Mehmood. Coach: Kamran Khan,Manager: Saeed Akhtar. PUNJAB (boys) Team: Ali Bokhari,  Omar Balaj,  Moin Rauf, Shah Jahan. Punjab (girls) team: Riffat Khan, Monisa, Kaiynat, Komal. Coach: Muhammad Naeem, manager; Muhammad Imran. Sindh (boys) team: Saad Shahid, Faisal Khan, Asbak Khan, Bilal Khan. Sindh (girls) team: Habiba Khan, Ayesh Zafar, Mahrukh Shaikh, Mehak Shakeel. Coach-cum-manager: Jahangir Khan Jr. All the outstation players would be accommodated at Sindh Sports Hostel near Niaz cricket stadium. Hyderabad city Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil head the organizing committee while Syed Ashraf Ali Shah and Tariq Shaikh will be vice chairman of the organising committee.
