MQM man among 3 killed

KARACHI - Three people including an activist of Muttahida Qaumi Movement were killed in various violent incidents here on Thursday.
MQM worker Danish Kaleem, 24, resident of sector 11, was sitting at a milk shop when gunmen riding a motorbike came closer to him and shot multiple times. Gunmen managed to flee while the victim was transported to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. Iqbal Market police said the victim was the member of MQM’s medicolegal aid committee. His father Kaleemullah was also killed in the same manner a year ago. Police handed the body over to the family after autopsy. The motive of the killing has yet to be ascertained. Following the incident, commercial and non-commercial activities were suspended.  
In Kalakot police precincts, gangsters shot dead a passerby namely Naseer Baloch at Benazir University Road. Gunmen managed to flee while the victim was shifted to Civil Hospital where he succumbed to injuries. Police said the gangsters of Lyari were behind the incident. The cause of the murder has yet to be ascertained.
A man was stabbed to death in his house at Baldia Town.
Police said some unknown men barged into his house and stabbed Habibullah. The assailants managed to flee from the scene while the victim died on the spot. Police suspected personal enmity the motive behind the incident. It handed the body over to the family after autopsy.
