KARACHI - International stars from France and Germany together with Pakistani maestros enthralled music fans at a well-attended fusion concert held here at the Alliance Francaise on Friday night.The organisers said that Abaji from France, Mehmet Ergin from Germany and eminent Pakistani musicians Ustad Naseeruddin Saami and Ustad Bashir Khan gave a series of performances.Tehzeeb Foundation, Alliance Francaise and Goethe Institute arranged the concert on Friday to mark the 50th anniversary of the treaty of friendship (The Elysee Treaty) between France and Germany.The German and French Consulates in Karachi were partners in the event.President Tehzeeb Foundation, Malahat Awan, said that Tehzeeb Foundation, Alliance Francaise and Goethe Institute had joined hands to create an opportunity for the city’s music-lovers to enjoy fusion music of international stars of France and Germany with an unique flavour.
