KARACHI - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that terrorist elements involved in killing of innocent people do not deserve any sympathy while the delay in talks with Taliban was the main reason behind terrorism.Qureshi expressed these views at a party meeting regarding the preparation of the Local Bodies elections in Sindh province at a local hotel in Karachi on Sunday. He said PTI wants eradication of terrorism in the country and government should take the issues seriously ,otherwise, situation would be out of control. Qureshi said the government has shown irresponsibility by not following the APC`s decision on talks. Expressing doubt over the government’s privatisation process, he said govt’s stance over the process shows corruption. Talking about the Sindh government performance, he said that failure of the provincial rulers has shocked the masses and increased terrorism and lawlessness. Police, Rangers, civil servants, political activists, media workers and civilians remained under the terrorists attacks, but government instead of admitting their incompetence were carrying out political rhetoric, he added. Qureshi said that political parties has always used the people to achieve their political gains and left the people helpless but PTI would contest the LB polls with full strength. PTI Sindh President Nadir Akmal Khan Leghari, General Secretary Syed Hafeez Khan Advocate, MNA Dr Arif Alvi, MPA Samar Ali Khan, Khurram Sher Zaman, Dr Seema Zia and other leaders including the contesting candidates of LB polls were also present on the occasion.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
