KARACHI: At least 21 people were wounded in cracker attack at a musical function during wedding ceremony in Banaras locality within the limits of Pirabad police station.
According to the police, unidentified armed men were threw some explosive material when a musical function being held in a wedding ceremony.
In the result of explosion around 21 people including three eunuchs were sustained wounds. Reacting on information, law enforcers reached the site and shifted the victims to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment.–Staff Reporter
According to the SHO Abdul Moid, it was not the terrorist attack but some of the participants of the wedding’s function lobbed a firecracker in order to celebrate the wedding’s function which exploded inside the tent, injuring to the participants, adding that all the injured persons were later released from the hospital after medical first aid treatment. He said that no case was registered as it occurred accidently.
