KARACHI - Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan may return in next 24 hours as his family has arrived here from abroad.
The news of sudden departure of Governor Ebad to Dubai has spread rumours about his resignation as governor.
According to sources, Ebad showed concern over his no role regarding the targeted action of law enforcement agencies that are operational under the captaincy of Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and his team.
Following the situation Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali contacted Ebad in Dubai and told him that his reservations will be addressed over Karachi operation.
Sources added rifts seemed to be on the resolved and Sindh governor is likely to return Karachi in next 24 hours to resume his responsibilities.
