KARACHI - Citizen Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) claimed to have recovered two abducted children from the tribal areas. The children were abducted by their own uncle.Some unknown culprits kidnapped the children of an employee of Pakistan Customs, Tahir from Islamabad. The children Muskan, 2, and her six-year-old brother Taha were taken to the tribal areas of Pakistan. Tahir approached the authorities concerned in Islamabad and later rushed to Karachi in search of his children. The CPLC initiated inquiry and managed to trace the location of the accused person where they kept the children detained. Later, they came to know that the accused person was the maternal uncle of the children. CPLC chief Ahmed Chinoy intervened in the matter and recovered both the children after conducting negotiations with the tribal elders.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
