KARACHI - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned attack on senior journalist Hamid Mir and vowed to leave no stone unturned to nab and punish the culprits. The PM visited the Agha Khan University hospital to inquire about the health of Mir. At this occasion, he prayed for early recovery of Mir so he could resume his sacred duty to the nation.
Speaking to the media, investigation into the attack was underway and government has empowered judicial commission had been formed to probe the case and hold the perpetrators of this act. He said that government would use all resources to apprehend the culprits of this crime. Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid, Defence Minister Khwaja Asif, Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah also accompanied the PM during the visit.
