Karachi- The Sindh High Court (SHC) allowed the Bahria Town administration to resume construction work on a flyover and underpass in Karachi’s Clifton area today.
The court had issued a stay order on construction of these projects on the pretext of environmental concerns. Welcoming the court’s decision, Construction Manager Abdul Latif stated that they will work day and night to complete the projects. Laborers have already resumed their work in different sections. Bahria Town administration maintains that the construction of the flyover and underpasses will bring civic infrastructure in Karachi at par with world standards. The projects will provide relief to commuters.
