Rangers foil TTP terror bid

KARACHI - Rangers claimed to have foiled a terror bid by apprehending two alleged members of outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan on Monday.
Rangers conducted targeted raid in Muslimabad Colony area and saved Karachi from a disastrous terrorist action.
The spokesperson of rangers said it raided a hideout where militants were preparing a motorcycle-borne improvised explosive device for a terrorist activity in Karachi. Upon seeing the rangers, the militants tried to escape along with the motorbike but rangers personnel chased them and managed to overpower the terrorists just away from their hideout.
It recovered an explosive-laden motorcycle and explosives from them.
