KARACHI - Pukhtoon Action Committee (PAC) Loya Jirga chief, Shahi Syed, on Friday demanded of the Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry to audit billions of rupees funds of City Government Karachi. Addressing a Press briefing held at Mardan House after the meeting of PAC, he said that the recent spell of rain had exposed the tall claims of Karachi City government and charged allegations of massive corruption in the financial affairs of CDGK. He strongly criticised those elements who supported the privatisation of KESC, adding that now these corrupt elements are demanding nationalisation of KESC. Syed said that due to prevailing law and order situation and unrest in the City, the business community has compelled to shift their businesses outside the metropolis. However, Waziristan and Mehsud Muttahida Tribes, settled in Sindh, had announced to join the PAC and expressed their confidence on the leadership of PAC.
